With this letter sending program, the campaign coordinators will collect the letters you have written and send them to the members of parliament in several stages before the voting days in the European Parliament. When sending a letter, you can attach a photo of nature, a drawing or a picture. Let's show the decision makers what kind of nature we want to see and what kind of environment we want to live in!
No, we will not flood the members of parliament with letters. For each stage, the coordinators will select and quote 3 messages you have written and 3 photos you have sent (your personal data will not be disclosed to the addressees), and in the other part of the general letter they will write how many Lithuanian residents think it is important for us, that is, how many people spared their time and wrote and sent a letter.
Unfortunately, in May the EP's Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI) Committee and Fisheries (PECH) Committee voted to reject the Nature Restoration Regulation. The next vote will take place very soon - on June 15. In the EP Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) Committee.
Thus, the organizers of the initiative will send the third summary of collected letters to m. at the beginning of June before the meeting of the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) Committee of the European Parliament (June 15). Let's try to send as many letters as possible to encourage our elected members of the European Parliament and the Minister of the Environment to responsibly assess the importance of the Nature Restoration Regulation for the future of all of us!
