At the end of November, a group of biodiversity researchers from the Wetlands Restoration and Protection Fund participated in the scientific-practical conference “Challenges and Challenges of Landscape Formation, Development of Greenery and Greenery Welfare” (26 November 2021). Nature conservation expert Žydrūnas Sinkevičius presented the report “Management of Historical Park Greenery Preserving Biodiversity - Experiences and Challenges”. The participants of the conference were acquainted with the material of biodiversity research carried out on the initiative of the international Lithuanian-Latvian Interreg VA program project “Preserve the Future for the Future LLI-476” and the guidelines for improving and managing the biodiversity and natural habitats of old manor parks.

The remote event brought together a large circle of professionals (more than 80 listeners during the presentation) who took an active part in asking questions to the speakers and engaging in meaningful discussions.
